I have had discussions with the Professional Massage Association of Scotland and the Scottish School of Professional Massage as they generally arrange the venues for the Basic and Advanced Hyperton-X courses for me in Scotland They will post dates of any UK - or Spanish - courses on their pages. It certainly appears that Hyperton-x is much more active in other parts of the world. Fortunately I have a good working relationship with Trevor Savage of the International Kinesiology Foundation in Australia. Trevor has, with the permission of Frank Mahoney’s son, re-printed the hyperton-x manuals and I have to say has made a very good job of them. I have included in this site on the ‘about’ page, the web page I constructed for the UK Kinesiology Foundation web site. This is still current although they have not as yet updated their contact information.
The reason I mentioned Spanish courses is that I have been asked if there is a possibility of running ‘Master Classes’ here for those who wish. As it happens, only a few yards from our Casa is what was previously a language school. The building is no longer used as a school but the owner may be willing to rent it out to us. This would allow us to have more students plus accommodation in the actual building. I would suggest then, the Master Classes could be combined with a weeks ‘holiday’ with time allowed for relaxation as well as work.
Working in the sun is Fab by the way.
On 30th Oct. I sent an e-mail to the kinesiology office to enquire if there were any further developments in the future of HT-X and to make it known to their office that I do not wish to see Hyperton-X drop from sight in the UK. It appears that, at the moment, no one else in the UK is running courses and checking the register no one else is listed as an instructor in Hyperton-X. Ruth, the administrator I spoke to in London, informs me she has spoken to Kay McCarrol and that Kay will contact me in the near future.
